Don't forget! Drive-thru lunch available beginning today at 12:00pm at both Quenemo and Melvern school buildings! Any child 1-18 years old can receive a FREE lunch. Child must be in the vehicle to be served. Service will end at 12:30pm sharp. Questions? Call 785-549-3521.

Beginning Wednesday, March 18th, every weekday during school closure, lunches will be served from 12-12:30pm via drive-through at Quenemo and Melvern. Any student can receive a lunch at any school. Students must be present in the vehicle. If you need assistance call 785-549-3521.

During ANY closure of schools in response to COVID-19, ALL PERSONS ARE RESTRICTED FROM SCHOOL PROPERTY. Only notified, select staff will be permitted on property. We are attempting to provide the most sanitary conditions possible and need cooperation from the entire community.

As of 4pm today, 3/15/2020, KSDE Commissioner Randy Watson has "strongly recommended" that Kansas school districts close for the week of March 16-20. USD 456 will follow this recommendation and will close school for this week. Further information will be shared when available.

More exciting updates to our facilities. Here is our completed bleachers and concrete pad at the football field/track, and the result of day 1 of our new softball fence. A big thank you to Coach Criqui, Coach Chloe, and their crew of parents, students, and community members for their work on the fence today. More to come!



Seniors & Senior Parents/Guardians...just a friendly reminder...you have 13 days until most local scholarship applications are due! Don't delay in getting these completed and turned in to Mrs. McCullough! Late applications will not be accepted!

Be sure to come out to our JH/HS Winter Sports Banquet on March 19th, 2020 at 6pm in the gym! A taco bar will be provided! JH families are asked to bring a dessert and high school families are asked to bring a side! See you there!

A great day for FFA! Our students spent the day today at the ECD Ag Mech, Floriculture, Vet Science Career Development Event at Louisburg. Ag Mech placed 8th overall, Flori 11th and Bayleigh just judged by herself so we didn't have a team score.
The day ended with some FFA Week Fun. A big thank you to Mr Rice for your work during FFA week!
