The MdCV Lady Trojans are the 2026 Valley Invitational Champions!
MdCV put together an outstanding day of volleyball on Saturday, September 12, finishing the tournament with a perfect 5–0 record. Even more impressive, the Lady Trojans did not drop a single set, going 10–0 in sets played on their way to the championship.

The Lady Trojans opened the tournament with a 25–13, 25–11 victory over Hartford before defeating Liberty 25–11, 25–8. MdCV continued its strong play with a 25–7, 25–13 win over Marmaton Valley and followed that with a 25–10, 25–14 victory over Southern Coffey County.

The final match of the day featured MdCV and Veritas, the top two teams in the tournament standings. The Lady Trojans took the first set 25–17 before battling through a tight second set and finishing the tournament with a 27–25 victory. Veritas finished second at 4–1, with its only loss coming against MdCV.

Throughout five matches, MdCV outscored its opponents 252–129, combining consistent serving, strong defense, teamwork, and determination for a championship performance.
