MdCV students had the opportunity to visit The University of Kansas on April 28, 2026, as part of a campus visit led by school counselor Mrs. Reeser.
Students attending the visit included, from left to right, Gus Ford, Aubrey Vogeler, Jordyn Duncan, Big Jay, Bella Reeser, Akyra Traver, Emily Criqui, and Kaylynn Todd.
Campus visits are an important part of helping students think about their futures. During official KU campus visits, students have the opportunity to learn more about admissions, tour campus, and explore areas of academic and student life interest. KU notes that a full campus visit is one of the best ways for students to experience life as a Jayhawk.
For our students, the visit provided a chance to see a major Kansas university up close, ask questions, picture themselves on a college campus, and continue thinking about opportunities after high school. Experiences like this help students connect their current work in school to future goals, whether that path leads to a university, community college, technical program, military service, or directly into the workforce.
We appreciate Mrs. Reeser for taking students on this visit and for the work she does to help MdCV students explore college and career opportunities. These experiences matter because they help students see what is possible and take one more step toward building their future.
Thank you to The University of Kansas for welcoming our students, and great job to our MdCV students for representing our school well.
Rock Chalk, Jayhawk — and Go Trojans!
