WORKS CITED/BIBLIOGRAPHY HOW TO SHEET
INFORMATION LITERACY
MRS. GARARD
When you use information in a report, you need to make a list of all the resources that you used. This list is called a works cited page or bibliography. It is written in a specific format. There are many types of bibliography form, such as MLA (Modern Language Association), or APA (American Psychology Association). We will be using the MLA form.
When you make a works cited or bibliography, you must follow the spacing and punctuation and include all the information asked for about the particular type of resource.
The below examples show what information to include and what format to use for a bibliographic entry for different types of information. It is important when you are doing a report, to write down the information needed for your works cited while you are using the resource. Then you do not have to hurry around trying to relocate a resource when it is time to turn in the final project.
