Meet Ruby Garard

I was born in Saint Francis, Kansas. I received a degree from Kansas State Teachers College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. I received Master Degree in Education and a Master of Library Science from Emporia State University. I am married to Wesley. My husband and I have two children, Gretchen and Luke, both graduates of MdCV. Gretchen and husband, Shannon, have a son, Jordan. They live in Kansas City, Missouri. Luke lives in Valrico, Florida.
My career in teaching began at the Play/Pre School in Lebo. I started teaching at MdCV as a third/fourth grade teacher at Quenemo. I have taught in various grade levels in both attendance centers. Presently, I teach Title Reading and Math at the elementary school. I am the librarian at the elementary school also.
I never lack for things to do in my spare time. I have various interests to keep me occupied when I am not helping my husband with farm work. I enjoy reading, baking, sewing, and gardening.
