Meet Joy Wells

I was born in Iola, Kansas. I grew up and went to school in Gridley, Kansas (which is now better known as a part of SCC Southern Coffey County). I went to Emporia State University to get my degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Special Education. While teaching for four years in a full inclusion 4th grade classroom at Burlington Elementary School, I decided to go back to ESU to get my Master’s degree in Special Education with a focus in Learning Disabilities. I am now very proud to be an Interrelated Teacher for grades Kindergarten through 2nd grade, for Three Lakes Educational Cooperative here at MDCV Elementary School. I have been blessed with three very fun children: Makaela, 9 years old, is a fourth grader in Lyndon; Mariah, 5 years old, is in all day kindergarten in Lyndon; and Tate, 4 years old, is attending preschool here in Quenemo!!
