a book review for Team Thurston -- the No Namers

Quinn is a wild child who loves crazy fast rides, roller coasters and has piercings. He doesn't really feel like he has anything that he is good at. On the other hand, his brother Blake is a cautious kid; he likes to go the speed limit and does not like roller coasters. The two were at the fair together when Ryan won a teddy bear from a stand; it was an "ucky" color, like when you mix all the paints together. It also had an invitation to another fair in its pocket.

When Quinn finds the invitation, he is "stoked." He goes to this carnival to find that you have to ride seven rides, and if you die on any one of the rides, the amusement part absorbs you into the scenery. But the further you get, the weaker the park becomes. Quinn gets stuck in a ride and thinks he is King Tut. He has golden gowns and crown with rubies. It wasn't until they tried to mummify him that he was ready to go. So Blake sneaks in and cuts him free.

Everyone was amazed that Blake had made it to the sixth ride, so they helped make distractions and showed him the short cut to the next ride. They soon find out that it is on top of a pyramid. To get to the top, they have to race the clock because dawn is getting very close, and if they don't make it, they will become servants forever. Will they make it or not? Read this book to find out.

I liked this book because it was interesting and not to mention, kind of weird. The Best part is it was not that long.
