Come one! Come all! It’s time for the annual Reading Incentive Party! All year students worked hard to go to the Recreation Center for a chance to swim in the nice, cool pool of water. That’s not all they had in store for them: pool tables, air hockey, basketball, track, and racquet ball. Some students didn’t even swim because of all the other choices!
How much time did they have to squeeze in all the fun? There was only three hours of nonstop fun! Teachers even played along. Who happened to stop by but Mrs. Snider and Amelia June Snider! It was a once in a life time chance, I’m glad I got to go.

Honk! Honk! It’s time for the field trip to Burlington. Everybody is excited about the big day. There will be plenty to do, like swimming, basketball, racquetball, and more fun things. Everybody loads on the buses and we’re off to the rec center. When we get there, we eat lunch on the sidewalk. Then it’s time for the real fun. We all can’t wait to start playing but we have to listen to directions. We have three hours to have all the fun we want. The classes take turns swimming. By the time it’s almost over, we are all trying to have as much fun as possible. We never want to leave this fun place but we mind our teachers and get back on the bus. Then we head back to the school. We all have fun while we are there.

This was one of the most spectacular field trips I ever had been on! We got there about eleven o’clock and left about two o’clock. I thought swimming was the best of the whole thing. (I did enjoy racquetball too.) and I had a good time. I thought every single student had fun. I talked to some of my classmates and they said. . . . . . .
