This book is about a girl who gets kidnapped by a guy who is
trying to get revenge. The whole thing happened after Cass had
written a nasty note about the guy's brother after he had asked her
out. She didn't intend for him to find the note that she left for
her friend. Anyway, the guy who asked her out hanged himself in his
front yard with a note pinned to him. The brother of the guy found
out what had happened and blamed Cass for it. So one night he broke
into her room and kidnapped her. He drugged her up and dug a hole
in the ground and buried her alive. Everyday he would come by and
talk to her and yell at her. He put an oxygen device in the box,or
something like that, so she could breathe, but whenever he got an
answer he didn't like he would kick dirt into it. It's pretty
intense and really sad.
There are like three different people talking throughout the whole
book. One chapter it will be Cass talking, and then in another
chapter it would be the guy talking to the detectives, or the
detectives trying to find Cass.
Really, once you get started with this book you don't want to stop
reading it. The ending is really surprising. (215 words)
