Prom 2008
The MdCV Junior-Senior Prom is scheduled for April 26 at the
Melvern Community Center. The theme is "Night Life 2008."
Pictures start at 7 p.m. followed by a dance, which begins at 8
p.m. and ends at 11 p.m. Everyone is welcome to come to prom, look
around, and take pictures. The students will play Laser Tag for the
After-Prom Party.
After-Prom Party
The MdCV Booster Club invites juniors and seniors to the
"After-Prom Party," to be held at Advanced Laser Tag in Olathe,
Kansas, on April 26, 2008. In addition to playing laser tag, there
will be video games available to play. Pizza and drinks will be
provided.
Juniors and seniors also need to read and complete the "Peace of Mind Agreement," have a parent sign the agreement, and turn the completed form into the high school office by April 17. All dates that are not MdCV juniors or seniors must also complete the "Peace of Mind Agreement." Forms for prom dates are available in the school office. Dates must be in high school or older.
Advanced Laser Tag also requires students and their parents or guardians to complete a registration form. The registration form must be signed by a parent or guardian, unless the student is 18 years old or older. If students do not have a completed and signed registration form, they will not be allowed to play laser tag. The registration form is required for both students and their dates.
The primary purpose of the "After-Prom Party" is to provide students with a safe fun-filled night free of alcohol or drugs. In addition, students and their dates will have the opportunity to win prizes.
