A boy accompanies his mother to Italy, where she has been asked to help with an archeological dig of Etruscan ruins. He "luckily" discovers a stone that becomes a transport back to Etruscan time. Readers will learn about the careful process involved in uncovering ancient artifacts and a glimpse into Etruscan society. Glossaries of Italian-English and Etruscan-English words are also included for reference.
